This single piece mounting kit is much easier to mount the 2 solid-state drives than the 2 piece metal bracket design. It's not recommended to mount 2 hard drives, because of a heat issue. There are 4 screws holes on the underside of this unit for mounting the bottom drive. So unlike the 2 piece design, where you need to slide the brackets around to make the holes fit.
